Over the last 24 hours, Odisha registered 1320 new COVID-19 incidents, totalling 24,013.

While 887 cases have been reported from different quarantine centers, the remaining 433 are local contacts. 


887 were in quarantine and 433 of the new cases, which are spread through 24 districts. The highest case today is from the Odisha epicenter COVID-19 in Ganjam, where 560 were identified, followed by 174 in Khordha, and 90 in Gajapati and Puri, each.


Odisha reported 10 more Covid-19 deaths, highest in a single day, taking the state’s total death toll to 130, informed the health department on Saturday.

The deaths have been reported from Ganjam (3), Balasore (2), Sundergarh (2), Rayagada (1), Jharsuguda (1) and Gajapati (1) districts
