A member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang was arrested on Friday by the Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) along the old Ambala road in Dhakoli. A weapon smuggler, Bunty of Jain Chowk, Taliwada, Bhiwani, has been identified.
During a joint operation with the Mohali police, the AGTF arrested Bunty with 20 pistols – three .30 caliber pistols with two magazines, two 9 mm pistols with two magazines, and 15 Indian-made pistols with 40 live cartridges and 11 magazines. The suspect’s MUV was also impounded by the police.
On the orders of Goldy Brar, he delivered a consignment of weapons to members of the Bishnoi gang. Dhakoli police station has registered a case under Sections 25(6) and 25(7) of the Arms Act.
