On Tuesday, the third day of his poll-bound visit to Gujarat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch various healthcare projects in Ahmedabad and address a rally in Rajkot.Assembly elections are due in the BJP-ruled state by the end of the year. A healthcare facility worth Rs 1,275 crore will be inaugurated by PM Modi at Ahmedabad’s Civil Hospital (Asarwa). New and improved cardiac care facilities will be launched at the UN Mehta Institute of Cardiology and Research Centre, as well as a new hostel building at the Institute of Kidney Diseases and Research Centre and a new cancer and research institute building in Gujarat. A shelter home for the families of poor patients will also be dedicated by Modi. Jamkandorna in Rajkot district is also on his agenda. Following these programmes, the PM will visit Ujjain, a neighboring state of Madhya Pradesh, where he will dedicate to the nation the first phase of the Shri Mahakal Lok corridor, which provides pilgrims visiting the famous Mahakeleshwar Temple with world class modern amenities, an enriching experience.
