For the second consecutive day on Friday, Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra joined her brother Rahul Gandhi in the Bharat Jodo Yatra in Madhya Pradesh.
On the third day of the Madhya Pradesh leg of the yatra, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and her husband Robert Vadra were seen matching steps with Rahul Gandhi.
Kherda in Khargone district began the yatra in the morning.
In the evening, Gandhi will arrive at Omkareshwar, one of the 12 jyotirlings in the country, according to the chair of the Madhya Pradesh Congress media department, K K Mishra.
As part of the Narmada River aarti, Gandhi will also offer prayers at the temple.
On November 23, after completing its Maharashtra leg, the yatra entered BJP-ruled Madhya Pradesh from Burhanpur district. Madhya Pradesh’s Malwa-Nimar region will cover 380 km in 12 days before it enters Rajasthan. This agricultural region is home to a large number of tribal residents.
