Starting on September 28, the South African team will play a limited-overs series against the hosts in India.
South Africa will play three T20Is and as many ODIs in India before India hosts the ICC T20 World Cup in Australia. There are currently three T20Is being played between India and Australia. The series is now level at 1-1 after two games, and the final match will be played in Hyderabad.
The Proteas will be led by Temba Bavuma in the series. South Africa lost 1-2 to England in their last Test series against England after winning the first match.
Mohammed Shami, who missed the Asia Cup and the Australia series, returns to the Indian squad for the T20Is. Rohit Sharma will lead India in the T20Is. As of yet, India hasn’t named a squad for its ODI series against South Africa.

Thiruvananthapuram will play the first T20I on September 28 followed by Guwahati and Indore on October 2 and 4.
ODIs will begin on October 6 at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.
