Earlier this week, Bhupesh Baghel requested that the Central Government return Rs. As part of the New Pension Scheme (NPS), the Chhattisgarh government will be able to secure the future of its employees and their families by depositing 17,240 crore with National Securities Depository Limited (NSDL).
As part of the NPS, the State Government recently announced the restoration of the old pension scheme. In order to reinvested in employees’ General Provident Funds, the Centre must return Rs. 17,240 crore deposited with the NSDL by March 31.
He also demanded that money collected from coal block companies as “additional levy” be returned to Chhattisgarh, according to a statement. These demands were made by the CM during a prebudget meeting on Friday.
State Finance Ministers presented their proposals at a meeting chaired by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
