A star of the Hindi film industry, Sanjay Dutt’s parents were some of the most famous celebrities of the Hindi film industry.
Trishala Dutt’s 62-year-old father was quite opposed to her going into showbiz. He once said he wanted to “break” her legs when she told him about her ambitions.
Sanjay emphasized during the promotions of his 2017 film Bhoomi how he has invested a lot of time and energy in Trishala’s education and does not want to see her give it up for the acting world.
He told PTI, “I have put a lot of time and energy into getting her into a good college and she has done very well. She has specialized in forensic science… And I think it’s the right thing to do.”.
Even if she wants to join the industry, she will have to learn Hindi because American (English) will not work here. It is hard to be an actor. It may seem easy, but it is quite challenging,” added the KGF: Chapter 2 actor.
In response to a question about the similarities between his onscreen daughter Aditi Rao Hydari and Trishala, he replied, “Yes, there are similarities, but Trishala wanted to be an actress while I wanted to break her legs, which I am not doing here.”
On the work front, Sanjay Dutt will soon be seen in Akshay Kumar’s Samrat Prithviraj, directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi Kumar and starring Manushi Chhillar and Sonu Sood. Samrat Prithviraj is scheduled to release on June 3.
