Pokhran (Rajasthan): Tata Advance Systems Limited (TASL) successfully demonstrated the attack capability of its ALS 50 during tests carried out in Pokhran, Rajasthan, on Thursday.
VTOL is designed for vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL), and the system will soon be integrated into the military. It can also locate and destroy enemy positions by shooting at them. The ALS 50 drone can fly for a very long distance. Forests, narrow valleys, and mountains are all places where it can be used easily.
A new autonomous targeting system called ALS 50 was developed at TASL by young engineers. A drone system called ALS 50 was developed under the Make in India vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Earlier this year, the Pokaran Field Firing Range in Jaisalmer was used to test it in the inhospitable region of Ladakh. High-altitude operation was used to test the capability.
