Earlier today, officials in Punjab’s Amritsar district said that a drone entered from Pakistan and was shot down by the Border Security Force.
On Friday evening, troops noticed the drone sneaking into Indian territory near Daoke village, 34 km southwest of Amritsar city, and shot it.
BSF officials seized a quadcopter DJI Matrice 300 RTK (Chinese drone) in partially-damaged condition during the search.
There are four rotors on a quadcopter, which is an unmanned aerial vehicle.
