IAS and IPS officers have been asked by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to restore the pristine glory of the state.
On the auspicious occasion of Diwali, the Chief Minister congratulated the officers and urged them to continue to perform their duties diligently and meticulously to ensure Punjab’s progress and prosperity.
A holistic development of Punjab is the need of the hour, he said, assuring that his government is committed to making it a leader in the country.
The wheels for this had already been set in motion by his government.
In his words, “It is now the officers’ turn to fulfill the aspirations of our great freedom fighters by taking the state to a high growth trajectory.”
Also, the Chief Minister exhorted all officers to keep vigil so that people could celebrate the festival of lights with religious fervor and gaiety.
In order to prevent fire incidents, due care must be taken. On Diwali night, hospitals should be on alert for any unfortunate incident in case of such a mishap,” Mann said, urging officers to minimize the loss of life and property.
