Chandigarh: Army man was dating woman accused of filming students

Arunachal Pradesh Army man Sanjeev Singh was in love with a student who allegedly recorded women showering in their hostels during the Chandigarh University MMS scandal.

According to investigations by the Mohali police, Singh exchanged mobile numbers with the accused on social media. According to an India Today TV report, it is not known if Singh had also seen the videos. Sanjeev had two phones on him.

During the interview with the hostel manager, the accused MBA student was constantly texting someone. Her WhatsApp conversations with Singh were later discovered.

There was pressure on the accused to film the videos, according to the transcript.

Since she was caught taking the photos and videos, Singh put her in an embarrassing position by asking for them.

In the aftermath of the leak of students’ private and objectionable videos to the internet, protests erupted on September 18 on campus at Chandigarh University. As of now, four people have been arrested in connection with the case by the Punjab Police.
