Schools in Chandigarh, Panchkula, and Mohali that were closed because of Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease (HFMD) have already resumed classes for the last two weeks.
According to Rajesh Malik, a Chandigarh resident , there were some cases reported two weeks ago at Mohali Private School, so schools were closed as a precaution.
It’s back to normal now that online classes have started, according to Rajesh Malik.
Tricity reported around 24 cases of the highly contagious Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease two weeks ago.
