The Chinese deployed additional troops near Arunachal Pradesh near the Line of Actual Control (LAC) as tensions escalate between India and China.

National press reports indicate that the People’s Freedom Army of China (PLA), which is approximately 20 kilometres far from the Indian Territory, has increased its intensity in both Asaphila and Fishtail-2 sectors.

The Reuters news agency recently said India sent more troops to Anjaw in Arunachal Pradesh in the eastern district. This has raised the speculation that the two countries face one another.

There were also records of 100 to 200 warning shots fired at the northern bank of the lake by India and China, early September.

There have recently been a number of dialogues between India and China, but the LAC tension remains.
