Emojis Can Now Be Sent As Reactions On WhatsApp: Learn How

The world’s most popular chat platform WhatsApp announced on Monday that any emoji can be used as a reaction, weeks after introducing quick emojis as reactions to messages.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced the news through a Facebook post and used his favorite emojis. For Instagram, the company has already done this.

We’re rolling out the ability to send emojis as reactions on WhatsApp. Here are some of my favorites:

WhatsApp users can use any emoji as a reaction by long-pressing on a message, tapping on the “+” button and selecting an emoji from the full list of emojis.

In the meantime, WhatsApp is developing a feature that may soon allow users to hide their online status. In the near future, WABetaInfo reports that the world’s most popular chat platform will be able to hide online status for specific contacts or groups.

Early this month, the beta WhatsApp tracker announced that users would soon be able to hide who can see their online status using two new options: Everyone and Same as Last Seen.

In a future update, WhatsApp will allow users to select who can see when they are online, and yes, if you’re here, you know what that means.” WABetaInfo wrote on its page.
