Unlike most star kids her age who are busy preparing for Bollywood or have already begun their Hindi film journey, Navya Naveli Nanda has a different plan.
Navya’s maternal family has long been associated with the movie industry, and her brother, Agastya Nanda, is preparing to make his Bollywood debut in Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies, Navya devotes her energy to working for the empowerment of women.
While on one side, Navya has an oh-so-glamorous life attending filmy parties and being part of the glitterati, on the other hand, Navya is a simple, grounded girl, trying to build her wellness company Aara Health and fostering social and economic independence for women through her non-profit, Project Naveli.
Earlier this week, Navya shared some photos of her association with the Sakhi for Girls’ Education Foundation where she met young girls from Mumbai’s Mulund area. Navya captioned the photos, “The happiest faces.”.
Her grandfather Amitabh Bachchan commented, “Well done Navya. I’m so proud of you.” Navya responded, “Love you Nana.” Her mom Shweta Bachchan Nanda also wrote, “Indeed.”
A number of netizens also commented on Navya’s post and expressed admiration for her work.
