Here are the details on the new Air Force combat uniform on IAF Day

In Chandigarh, the Air Force Day parade event saw the debut of a new combat uniform for the Indian Air Force (IAF). First time the IAF has held its annual Air Force Day parade outside Delhi-NCR.

Among the new uniforms of the Indian Air Force were combat t-shirts, which were first introduced by Wing Commander Kunal Khanna. A Standing Dress Committee designed the uniform.

Several factors have been taken into account when designing the uniform, including border tensions, modified war mechanisms, and extreme weather conditions. Several extreme weather conditions can be handled by the uniform, according to sources.

Combat t-shirts, field scale disruptive hats, combat bony hats, disruptive web belts, anklet combat boots, and matching turbans are some of the key elements of the new uniform.

Camouflage is also incorporated into the uniform design. This fabric is more durable and can be worn for longer periods of time than the previous one. From the hills of Kashmir to coastal regions of the peninsula, this uniform can be worn on a variety of terrain.

Soldiers wore the new combat uniforms at the annual parade. Additionally, nearly 80 military aircraft and helicopters, including the recently inducted indigenously-built Light Combat Helicopter (LCH) ‘Prachand’, participated in an hour-long air show at the lake.
