The ASI of Hariana police station in Hoshiarpur district, who accused SHO Tanda Onkar Singh Brar of harassment, committed suicide by shooting himself at the police station around 10 am on Saturday.
A suicide note was written by ASI Satish Kumar, and a video was made before the attack. It was Onkar Singh Brar’s fault that he died, according to him.
As the ASI explains why he took such drastic measures, the clip shows him narrating the incident. According to him, he was stationed at the Hariana police station on September 8.
According to him, Inspector Onkar Singh Brar called him from the police station. During his visit, he asked him a few questions. Other questions that had nothing to do with him were also asked, according to the ASI.
In his complaint, he said he was humiliated and abused by the Tanda SHO. A report was then written against him by the Tanda SHO. He said he informed the Haryana police station SHO the next day about this, who condemned the conduct of the Tanda SHO. After being fed up with this humiliation, ASI Satish ended his life.
During the investigation, a suicide note was found in which Onkar Singh is held responsible for the death of the victim. There was an investigation underway at the Hariana police station after senior police officers arrived. According to Brar, he visited the Hariana police station for official work on September 8 and denied the charges. In response to Satish’s questioning, he registered a DDR against him, claiming he took action in accordance with the rules and did not behave improperly.
