Raj Thackeray, chief of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena, issued a warning after Pakistan Zindabad slogans were raised at a Popular Front of India protest march in Pune, warning that unrest would occur during the festive season if Hindus and Marathis took matters into their own hands.
In his statement released on Saturday, he said, “Don’t make me say it here.”. In the event that our Hindus of Hindustan and our Marathis Hindus decide to intervene, what will happen to these scoundrels? Don’t let me say it again! There will be unrest during the festive season if this occurs. As a result, it is better to end these anti-national activities immediately,” he said.
‘Go to Pakistan’: Raj Thackeray’s message
“If such is their mental state, then take your religion and go to Pakistan. Our country won’t tolerate this kind of drama.” Raj Thackeray told those allegedly raising slogans.
Taking strict action against such outfits is necessary for the central and state home ministers to ensure that even the phonetic sound of ‘PA’ will not be uttered from them. “I do not wish to go into the details of what may happen,” Raj Thackeray said in his statement. If not, our country’s Hindus will not take it lying down.
BJP on Saturday claimed that at a protest rally outside district collector’s office on Friday, pro-Pakistan slogans were raised. As soon as the videos are verified, the Pune Police will take the appropriate action. On accusations of terror funding, PFI leaders were subjected to a joint crackdown by the NIA, the ED, and the state police.
In response to the alleged incident, Maharashtra Congress chief Nana Patole has called for the PFI to be banned. Congress had earlier requested that PFI be banned under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA). Is the BJP not responding to the Congress’ request because of its own political agenda?” he asked.
Deputy chief minister Devendra Fadnavis and chief minister Eknath Shinde condemned the alleged incident.
The government needs to end such activities immediately. The NIA raided the PFI and arrested many members. Why were they arrested? Because they are funding terror activities in the country. Raj Thackeray said, “This is an anti-national activity that is such a serious issue.
