The Baghapurana police station in this district has registered a case against Punjabi singer Kul Jeet Rajeana for promoting gun culture, a senior police official said.
According to the police official, Kul Jeet’s promoters posted a song on YouTube called ‘Mahakaal’ that promotes gun culture.
YouTube removed the song 19 hours after it was uploaded.
For violating a district magistrate’s prohibition order, the case has been registered under Section 188 of the IPC.
Punjab Police head constable Kul Jeet Rajeana is a singer.
Despite being unaware of the prohibitory orders, the singer claimed that his promoters had removed the song from YouTube.
