The Delhi Police’s Economic Offences Wing (EOW) questioned Jacqueline Fernandez for eight hours on Wednesday, September 14, in connection with the Rs 200 crore extortion case involving multimillionaire conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar. Sukesh was allegedly introduced to the Kick actress by Pinki Irani.
In the latest development, Nora Fatehi has been summoned to testify before the EOW authorities. Today, September 15, she will appear at their New Delhi office in Mandir Marg.
Nora had already been quizzed for more than seven hours on September 2. Cops claim the Dilbar star accepted gifts purchased from the scam proceeds from Sukesh. According to the cops, they need to answer certain questions before they can determine who all participated in the crime.
ANI reported that Special Commissioner of Police (SPC) Ravindra Yadav confirmed Nora Fatehi’s summon. We will interrogate both Pinky Irani and him tomorrow, since Pinky Irani is here. We need to clarify a few things. As far as this case is concerned, Nora and Jacqueline don’t have any direct connection.”
