‘Rojgar Mela’ launched by PM Modi

During today’s video conference, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a recruitment drive for 10 lakh personnel called ‘Rojgar Mela’.

75,000 newly appointed appointees will receive appointment letters at the ceremony.

Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) noted that this is a significant step forward in fulfilling the Prime Minister’s commitment to provide job opportunities for youth.

According to the statement, all Ministries and Departments are working to fill existing vacancies against sanctioned posts in Mission Mode. 38 Ministries/Departments of the Government of India will receive new recruits from across the country.

Appointees will join the government at different levels, including Group A, Group B (Gazetted), Group B (Non-Gazetted), and Group C. According to the PMO statement, appointments are being made to a number of posts, including Central Armed Force Personnel, Sub Inspector, Constable, LDC, Steno, PA, Income Tax Inspectors and MTS.

Government Ministries and Departments conduct these recruitments on a mission basis either by themselves or through recruitment agencies such as UPSC, SSC, and Railway Recruitment Board.

A simplified and technology-enabled selection process has been implemented for expeditious recruitment.
