According to officials, a police constable from Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district has succumbed to his injuries after being shot at by terrorists on Friday.
Constable Reyaz Ahmad Thoker was shot near his residence in the village of Gudoora.
Reyaz Ahmad Thoker S/O Ali Mohammed was shot by a terrorist at his residence at Gudroo Pulwama. He has been hospitalized. The area has been cordoned off, police said.
An operation to apprehend the attackers was launched after additional forces reached the scene.
In Chadoora town of Budgam district, terrorists shot and killed a Kashmiri Pandit government employee, Rahul Bhat.
Bhat’s murder has been widely condemned while the migrant Kashmiri Pandits working in the Valley have accused the administration of failure to protect them.
