It was announced on September 9 that Amazon Web Services (AWS) has invested $3.71 billion in creating local Cloud infrastructure and jobs in India since 2016.
A bullish digital vision has also been revealed by Amazon. A $5 Trillion economy is possible for the company by 2030 if it adheres to this outlook.
AWS, Amazon’s cloud branch, plans to open three availability zones in Hyderabad’s second infrastructure Cloud region. Innovative features include improved compliance capabilities, reliability, and lower latency for critical cloud workloads. Mumbai’s existing Cloud region will be merged with Hyderabad’s.
Hundreds of thousands of Indian organizations, including startups and public sector organizations, will be able to take advantage of additional infrastructure provided by a global suite of cloud services in the Hyderabad Cloud region, along with Mumbai.
As part of its expansion, AWS now offers its services in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai, New Delhi, and Kolkata.
