There is a petrol-diesel shortage in Bhopal; supply has been reduced by 30 percent

According to reports, petrol and diesel supplies in Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) have been cut by 30 percent as a result of the supply shortage.

Ajay Singh, president of the Madhya Pradesh Petrol Pump Dealer’s Association, said that the petrol pumps were getting less fuel from the fuel companies. He added that there were mainly two companies that supplied less fuel.

Owners of petrol pumps, however, claim that they are losing Rs 28 per litre.

The fuels are delivered to the pumps every 2-3 days, and they dry out after 1-2 days, Singh said.

According to Singh, the fuel pumps used to have a supply of 4-5 days, however they have been experiencing fuel shortages for the past week. Consequently, the number of dry out pumps will increase as long as the shortage persists. Additionally, the depot’s fuel delivery schedule has been shortened, Singh noted.
