AGARTALA: A Border Security Force (BSF) constable posted to Khowai district in Tripura died at Khasiyamangal in Teliamura area.
A 32-year-old constable was on sentry duty at the battalion headquarters when he was killed. During maintenance of the system at the sector headquarters, a head constable noticed him lying in the video conference room.
His body was found lying in a pool of blood. Our officials rushed to the scene and sent the body for post-mortem. We will find out the cause of death after we receive the post-mortem report. Sonacharan Jamatia, sub divisional police officer for Teliamura, said the death was unnatural.
