Union Minister Ajay Bhatt says troops are ready for any situation

Ajay Bhatt, Minister of State for Defence, on Saturday said the Indian Army is always ready to deal with any situation at any given time, asserting that morale is high.

A befitting reply was always given by Indian troops in times of trouble.

As Bhatt addressed troops after laying a wreath at the Dhruva War Memorial and paying tribute to those braves who sacrificed their lives for the country, he said, “Our soldiers’ morale is very high today. We are always ready to handle any situation at any time”.

As a result, troops responded appropriately whenever the country encountered trouble or faced calamities.

In his remarks, Bhatt said that the country is experiencing a change in its situation. His words about development indicate a shift from negative to positive thoughts.

Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh union territories remain secure due to the Northern Command’s combat role and stable internal security situation.

Defence spokesman said the minister was briefed on the security and operational situation at the Northern Command in Udhampur.

During his time there, he discussed various defence-related issues with senior officers.

In the presence of the Northern Command chief Lieutenant General Upendra Dwivedi, Bhatt also flagged off the ‘Shaurya diwas (Infantry day) motorcycle rally.

A bike rally is being organized to commemorate 75 years since the historic landings in Srinagar during the 1947-48 war. On October 27, a rally will be held at National War Memorial in this city.

A later interaction between the minister and NCC girl cadets took place.
