The death toll for Covid-19 rose to 169 in Odisha, as ten additional people died in the last 24 hours, the Department of Health said on Thursday.
There were two deaths, one in Rayagada, Sambalpur, Sundergarh and Nayagarh, during the four records from Ganjam District.
The positive cases of Covid-19 crossed 30 000 mark and 1,203 new cases were observed in the last 24 hours.
The positive cases in the state reached 30,378.
758 are from quarantine centers out of new cases, and 445 are local contacts.

- A 71-year old male from Sundargarh district who was also suffering from diabetes.
- A 60-year old male from Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from diabetes and chronic kidney disease.
- A-50 year old male from Rayagada district who was also suffering from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
